Coachella Valley Fails Lung Association Report
COACHELLA VALLEY-- A new report from the Lung Association gives failing marks to the Coahcella Valley when it comes to tobacco control.
The report lists cities throughout California, giving grades for such things as tobacco use in public areas, access to smoke-free housing and sales of tobacco products.
All Coachella Valley cities recieved below average or failing marks, except for Palm Desert
Which was given a "c" for it's no smoking in public areas policy.
The report also criticizes the state for having one of the lowest tobacco taxes in the nation.
