Slain Riverside Officer Identified
RIVERSIDE - Authorities have released the name of the Riverside Police officer allegedly killed by former L.A.P.D. officer Christopher Dorner.
Police say 34-year-old Michael Crain was shot and killed by Dorner on Thursday.
Crain and his 27-year-old trainee partner were sitting at a traffic light when they were ambushed.
Police have not yet identified Crain's partner. He was shot eleven times and remains in the hospital with serious injuries.
Crain was an eleven year veteran of the force. He leaves behind a wife and two young children.
