Traffic Alert, Date Palm Drive
CATHEDRAL CITY - Starting Tuesday, construction crews working on the Interstate 10 Corridor Project will be closing the overpass on Date Palm Drive.
The roadway will be closed over the 10 freeway from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. until Thursday morning. Crews will be installing metal fences that line the bridge. California Highway Patrol officials are advising dirvers to use the Palm Drive/Gene Autry Trail or the Bob Hope Drive overpass. Officials say the closure may continue through Friday as forecasts show rain and high winds on Wednesday.
