A California Assemblymember Monday presented a controversial bill to create a commission that will appeal to the Fedral Aviation Administration to have our state become a new test site for unmanned drones.

Democratic Assemblyman Steve Fox of Palmdale, is asking the state to approve a bill which would allow drones to be tested in our skies. In 2012, the FAA estimated that 10,000 drones will be operating within the United States in the next five years, which could bring jobs to the state of California. Drones have been the target of numerous attacks recently - regarding how they will be used after the government used one to kill an American citizen who was suspected of being associated with Al Qaeda. Many Americans are afraid they will be used to invade privacy.
