INDIO- Youth from across the Coachella Valley gathered today to learn how to deal with life's obstacles.
At Angel Light Academy's Youth Leadership Conference, participants range from ages four to 18 years old. Youth learn how to face life's challenges such as anxiety, gossip and bullying.
"We teach them that they have innate leadership skills. They have the traits. They already know how to be patient and tolerant and have good communication skills. It's about brining them out," said Erika Baily, Angel Light Academy.
