PALM SPRINGS - A man accused of sexual battery has posted bail.
According to Palm Springs police, Daniel Walters, a doctor at the SleepWise Sleep and Behavioral Medicine Center, was accused on commiting sexual battery on an 18 year old volunteer.
The volunteer claims the doctor had committed the sexual crimes on Monday and Tuesday.
Then on Thursday, just before noon, police arrested Walters. He was later transported to the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility and has since posted bail.
