3.5 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Near Coachella Valley
ANZA - Did you feel it? A magnitude 3-point-5 earthquake hit near the Coachella Valley at 9:21 p.m. Tuesday night.
It was centered 12 miles east southeast of Anza and about 15 miles south of La Quinta off the San Jacinto fault line. No word yet if this is an aftershock from the 4.7 we had Monday in that area, but our experts did tell us that it would be no surprise if we did experience more quakes off that same fault in the few days after Monday's 4-point-7.
