UPDATE: Suspicious Packages Found
PALM SPRINGS - Thursday afternoon police were investigating two packages at the Palm Springs Art Museum.
Around 12:30 p.m. Palm Springs police got a call that one of those packages was inside the museum and one was outside. The museum was evacuated as a precaution while the Riverside County Sheriff's Department Hazardous Device Team took control of the situation.
Musuem Drive is closed and all acitivities at the musuem have been cancelled for the day.
UPDATE:
The packages have been deemed harmless. Roads in that are now open.
